art & the letter 2025 exhibition
The Art & the Letter Exhibition is an annual event held both at the CLAS Creative (previously called AGM Day) and online. We welcome submissions from calligraphers, and lettering artists, regardless of their level of experience.

Welcome to Art and The Letter Online, our fifth online exhibition and fourth hybrid exhibition, featuring work by CLAS members and non-members alike. The physical Art and The Letter Exhibition will be on display at the CLAS CREATIVE, on Saturday, 8 March 2025, at Regents University London.
This year our four categories are:
- LET THE LIGHT POUR IN by Lemn Sissay OBE FRSL
- THE ART OF CELTIC CALLIGRAPHY
- COLOUR OF THE YEAR FOR 2025 – ‘Future Dusk’
- MUSICAL CALLIGRAPHY – The Rhythm of the Pen

The accompanying Exhibition Directory will be available online on the day of the CLAS CREATIVE where you will be able to read more information on each piece of work, including the comments from our judges.
CLAS Members will receive an email via MailChimp with details on how to vote for their preferred ‘Members’ Choice’ digital exhibition winner. The deadline for voting is 04:00pm on Friday, 7 March 2025 (UK time). Voting on the physical entries will take place in person on the day of the CLAS CREATIVE.
We will announce the winners of both the Digital and Physical Exhibitions at the CLAS CREATIVE on Saturday, 8 March 2025. Each winner will be awarded a certificate and a prize.
