These tutors have shown skill in technical calligraphy, possessing acknowledged teaching qualifications. They have completed extensive training in planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating instructional programmes covering 8-10 consecutive two-hour lessons or a comparable series of linked workshops with sustained student involvement.

Their qualifications are highlighted in the CLAS Tutors and Talkers Booklet and are available through the interactive map. Furthermore, their weekend or extended courses might be featured in CLASnews. Students can rely on the high standard of teaching delivered by CLAS Accredited Tutors.

Usually, individuals in this category demonstrate a decent or acceptable level of calligraphy skill but have not undergone formal recognition or assessment of their teaching abilities. This group includes:

  • CLAS Fellows
  • Holders of the National Diploma in Calligraphy at Advanced level
  • Holders of the National Diploma in Calligraphy at Intermediate level
  • Tutors whose calligraphy, yearly lesson plans, and handouts have been assessed

Their information is available on the interactive map, and their weekend or longer courses may be highlighted in CLASnews listings.
